CYCLO CROSS COURSES
Skinny tyres mud, short, sharp off-road races, with hurdles, obstacles and intense action. That’s Cyclo-cross, a form of off-road racing for children aged 10+ that predates mountain biking by decades.
Delivered within our off-road area at the York Sport Village, these action packed sessions teach you to ride and run with the bikes in a cross-country like environment. Junior sessions are available for 10–13 years, with aged 14 years and above able to attend the adult sessions.

Delivered throughout the school holidays, our variety of different cycling camps are designed to develop your child’s skills.
The Camps are delivered by a qualified DBS certified cycling coach who will teach fun activities to engage your children throughout the day.
EASTER HOLIDAY CAMP 2019
Junior Camp for Triathletes & Cyclists 10.00-15.00 Thursday April 18th
York Sport will be running another off the bike conditioning course during the Easter Holidays, the day is based at York Sport Centre (not the Sport Village) and will include lots of exciting activities both theory & practical, we will build on some of the ideas taught in February Half Term. This time of year is perfect for mixing up training, introducing new ideas ahead of Summer. The day is aimed at young Cyclists & Triathletes and will be delivered by our expert team of coaches Andrew Johnston, Cycling, Alex Wormald, Triathlon and David Cropper, Personal Trainer & Cycling Coach.
5 hours of quality coaching
For 10-15 year olds
A full training day with a combination of theory & practical activities. You will develop enhanced training techniques of functional fitness delivered by British Cycling Coach, British Triathlon Coach and Personal Trainer.
