Personal Training & Programmes

Personal Programmes & Training

Personal Programme

A Personal Programme is a one-off session lasting one hour, ideal if you want direction to a workout, are a bit unsure of certain kit, or if you’ve reached a plateau in your training and need new ideas. At the end of your session you will receive a personal written report, detailing observations and recommendations made by your personal instructor. We recommend a follow-up session 6-8 weeks after this session.

Your first session costs £10, and £5 for a review session. These sessions can be booked at any time convenient for you, just ask at reception or the fitness desk.

Personal Training

Alternatively our Personal Training sessions are also a great way to get more from your workout! Relaunched in March, our new PT packages are completely goal-focused, allowing you to achieve your goals in 6 weeks. Personal Trainers design and customise a workout for your individual needs.

BRONZE: 1 session per week for 6 weeks

  • Tadas Burbulys

    Qualifications

REPS Level 3 Personal Trainer, Certificate Poliquin&Klokov training for strength sports, certificate of completion Klokov’s training program, ULTIMATE fat.

    About Me:

Qualified for over five years, I have extensive personal training experience with more than 50 clients currently on my books. I cater for both sexes but I’m proud that 70% of my clients are women. The programmes I design are tailored to each individual’s needs and goals, and are informed by specialist training that I have received from industry leading educators, including Charles Poliquin, Christian Thibaudeu and Wolfgang Unsold, and from attendance at residential Olympic weightlifting camps in Russia hosted by Russian 2004 Olympic gold medallist Dimitry Berestov , 2008 Silver medalist Dimitry Klokov and 2008 Bronze medalist Dmitry Lapikov. My passion and dedication for fitness means that I keep myself up-to-date with the latest techniques and developments, and continuously look for opportunities to develop more. Learning from the best gives me insights that many other trainers don’t have. That knowledge has helped me in local weightlifting competitions, recently winning first place in “Form” Leeds, 2016.

I believe in transforming my clients, pushing them past what they thought they were capable of, getting them fantastic results, and, at the same time, improving their confidence and self-esteem. I couple my training sessions with advice and guidance on healthy living and nutrition, and have links with local physio and sports therapists to provide a more holistic approach, as success is not only gained from hard work in the gym, but also from managing our lives outside of it.

It is testament to the satisfaction of my existing clients that more than half of them train regularly with me with one to three sessions per week, and many of them have remained with me for the long term, receiving training and fitness guidance over a number of years.

    Areas of expertise:

Olympic weightlifting, fat loss, muscle building, strength training, injury rehab and prevention.
