Youth Strength and Conditioning

1.Youth Performance Talent ID 

We are looking for talented young athletes in the York and surrounding area to take their game to the next level and join our Youth Performance Programme.

The 4-week talent ID course allows young athletes to start learning about how strength and conditioning can help to develop key athletic qualities and potentially earn a space on our ongoing Youth Performance Programme.

When: Thursdays from 19:00-20:00 (starting 20th September)
Where: York Sport Centre
Price: £40 for 4 weeks

Using a holistic approach we aim to develop:

  • Speed and Agility
  • Strength
  • Movement Skills
  • Mobility and Flexibility
  • Core Training
  • Fitness
  • Resilience to reduce risk of injury

2.Strength & Conditioning Course (invite only): 

When: Every Thursday from 18:00-19:00
Where: York Sport Centre
Price: £40 per month

Open to ages 10-16 years, with a focus on speed/agility development and gym based strength, conditioning and mobility (similar to how professional sport academies develop their young athletes).
