Due to a delayed pool chemical delivery, our pools will be closed on Wednesday 17 June 2026.

We are expecting a delivery during the day on Wednesday 17 June, and will announce the time of the pool reopening on our social media channels and website.

Wednesday morning swimming lessons will be cancelled, and we will inform parents if there is any impact to evening swimming lessons.

On the morning of Wednesday 17th June, the York Sport Village member changing rooms will be closed for essential lighting maintenance works.  Alternative changing rooms will be available on the day, and all other facilities will be open as normal.

The lift at York Sport Village is currently out of use.  This is due to the discovery of an issue with the emergency release mechanism following a routine maintenance inspection.  We are working with engineers to resolve fix the issue and open the lift for customers as soon as possible.

Please do get in touch if you are planning a visit and may need additional support to access facilities at York Sport Village.

We will be open between 7am to 9pm.

We would like to inform customers that there will be some changes to our class attendance policy, effective from 1 July 2026. These changes are aimed at improving class attendance and reducing late cancellations following feedback from our members. 

The changes in the policy will mean that from Wednesday 1 July, failure to attend a class, collect a ticket, or cancel with less than 1 hours’ notice will result in a charge applied to your York Sport Hub account. The charge applied for a non-attendance will be £1 per occurrence, and will appear in your York Sport Hub debt section.

This charge is applied per instance and must be paid before any further class bookings can be made. The account will be unlocked upon receipt of payment, which can be made via the ‘My Debts’ section of your York Sport Hub online account, or at reception. 

This new policy is being uintroduced as a result of customer feedback, and is very much aimed at deterring late cancellations and non-attendance, preventing other members being able to book a space.
