Family Swims
Our Family Swim sessions are a perfect way to get active as a family!
You can purchase a family swim for any of our Open Swim, Family Swim, or Family Splash sessions displayed on our Swimming Pool Timetable, and the ticket price is based on a group of 4 people attending including at least one adult at £14.50.
From Saturday 23rd May we will have a ticketing system for Family Swim and Family Splash sessions. Please pre-book your Family Swimming tickets using the link below. We will have very limited spaces for walk-ins.
Things to know:
- Children aged 8 years and over may attend public swimming unaccompanied.
- Children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied by a responsible person aged at least 18 years old or the parent/legal guardian.
- One responsible person aged 18 or over may supervise two children aged between 4 and 7 years; or one child under 4. If you have any questions regarding this please as our reception staff.
Family Splash!
Join in on our Family Splash swim sessions where you can have fun as a family with a selection of inflatable toys & games for you to enjoy alongside your swim.

Sensory Friendly Swimming
Enjoy relaxation and fun with Sensory Friendly Swim sessions at York Sport Village, offering a calming, inclusive environment for all.
Key Features:
- Peaceful Pool Hall: No background music, low-volume staff radios, and no overlapping classes.
- Engaging Equipment: Sensory friendly toys and swim cards encourage confidence and skill-building.
- Inclusive Space: Minimal distractions, capped sessions (20 participants), and smooth transitions for a safe, enjoyable experience.
Who’s it for?
Ideal for individuals with autism, sensory processing disorders, or those who prefer a quieter swim.
Timetable & Booking:
- Small Pool: Sensory Friendly Swim (Sundays 8am to 9.15am). Book online; carers attend free. Check-in at Reception.
- Main Pool: Quiet Time pay-as-you-go swim (Sundays 8am to 9.30am). Regular pricing applies.
