  • Are the pools open to the public/non-members?

    Yes. Both of our pools are open to the public. There are specific times where access is restricted, which are clearly highlighted on the timetable. Click to view the Swimming Timetable.

  • Are there any times that the pool has restricted access?

    There are certain times where there are only two lanes available for customer use, but this usage is under constant review. The pool is unavailable on Wednesday afternoons between 1pm and 3pm for staff/training/activities. If any large events take place we will endeavour to give as much notice as possible in club, online [link] and through Social Media. Please click here to view the Pool Timetable.

  • Do you run Swimming Lessons?

    We have a full swim scheme available at York Sport Village, following the Swim England Learn to Swim Pathway. We teach classes from the age of 6 months right through to adults, catering both to beginners and those thinking about starting competitive swimming.

  • How long do lessons last?

    Lessons are half an hour long for all stages up to and including stage 8 and Adults and then for stages 9 & 10 lessons are an hour long.

  • How much do childrens' lessons cost?

    Children’s lessons are £78 for 12 consecutive weeks or £26 per month by direct debit. Direct debit enables your child to gain free access to the pool outside of lesson time.
