What happens after I sign up?
You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours, and there will be a link in this email to book your fitness induction.
Our health and safety inductions offer a way for our new members to acquaint themselves with our facilities. You can also ask our Fitness Team to answer any questions you might have! You will be shown how to check in for our fitness classes, how to use our wristbands and our Wellness app, and how to use any machines in the gym you are unfamiliar with.
On your induction, you will also be handed your membership wristband. This is how you can access our gym and members-only areas, so keep hold of it! Please note that you will not be permitted entry to the facilities without an induction.
York Sport Village members can book your induction here.
York Sport Centre members can watch our new video induction here. If you would still prefer an in-person induction, you can book here.
