Not at present but members are more than welcome to bring children to use the pool on a pay and play basis.
Is there an age restriction for the gym?

Does membership of York Sport Village entitle me to use the University Sports Centre?
There is a bolt-on membership available to allow dual use of York Sport Village and York Sport Centre, email email@example.com for more details. Otherwise Sport Village members get discount on the facilities at the Sport Centre.
Where is York Sport Village, and how do I get there?
The Sport Village is located just off Hull Road, by Grimston Bar Park & Ride. It is situated on the edge of the University of York’s Heslington East Campus.
The number 44 bus will take you to the Village’s doors from the city centre. The number 4 and 6 busses can take you to Heslington East Campus, which is a short walk from the SportVillage.
You can also access the Sport Village by foot. Access is available from the Heslington East campus off Field Lane. Follow Kimberlow Lane past the interchange and Langwith College and follow the path which is suitable for pedestrians and cyclists to the York Sport Village. There is no vehicle access from this campus.
Why do I need a membership wristband?
Your wristband is what identifies you as a member and must be worn at all times. You must scan your band at all access doors to gain entry. If you lose your band you would pay £10 for a new one. If you forget your band you can borrow a guest band for a small deposit of £5.

All members are required to undertake an induction to the gym, inductions can be booked by following the link you receive on joining or by clicking here [link]. You will receive your membership wristband after your induction.
How do i book classes?
You can now book classes online here [link]. Alternatively call 01902 325751 or ask at reception.
How often are the changing rooms cleaned?
The whole of the sport village is cleaned each morning. Changing rooms and toilets (as well as other areas identified) are cleaned throughout the day by cleaning staff who are on site during this period. Areas which have been highlighted as attracting a need for more prominent attention have been identified by both staff and customer comments, and these have been addressed by introducing more staff to clean these areas.
How often is the fitness timetable changed?
The fitness timetable is changed every 3 months, with customer feedback taken onboard in the changes.
I wish to submit feedback
